About me

Hi, I am Carol, and I am never happier than when surrounded by dogs! I qualified as a human physiotherapist in 1996 and worked in the NHS for almost 25 years, primarily with patients with neurological problems such as strokes, head and spinal injuries. I decided to leave the bustling noise of London to move to Leamington Spa in 2011 and in qualified in 2017 as a veterinary physiotherapist after training for 2 years at Hartpury University. I specialise in dogs now of all breeds and abilities.

My week is filled travelling around Warwickshire and the surrounds, treating a large variety of dogs in the comfort of clients homes. I find this eases travel issues for clients and shortens the whole session time to the actual face to face time, minimising the days disruption for both dog and owner.

When newly qualified I worked at Dovecote vets for a year and a half, a busy referral centre in Castle Donnington. During this time I worked with early post operative clients and clients attending specifically for physiotherapy. The importance of working collaboratively with local vet teams to provide the most coherent and best suited treatment and management for each individual animal is extremely important to me, and as physiotherapist we HAVE to have vet consent prior to seeing any animal.

In my free time I love to sing with a show choir and enjoy the beauty of Warwickshire's green spaces; I love gardening and countryside walking; especially with my gorgeous 13 year old Border terrier Alfie - my cover star (he helps with the gardening too!!). I have recently started weight training at my local gym and am reaping the benefits and very much enjoying having a pain free right knee after surgery in March.
